Edinson Cavani will snub Manchester United and remain at Paris Saint Germain.
Cavani had previously been linked with Manchester United, however, club chairman Nasser Al-Khelafia has stated that Cavani will not be leaving France.
“Perhaps he is not satisfied with his position, but he is very happy in Paris.
“He wants to play as a central striker, but these things are for the coach to decide and maybe he will change the system for next season.
“Cavani is very important for us, with his style of play he is very unselfish and he won’t leave.
The Uruguay international, who will play at this summer’s World Cup finals, scored 22 goals as PSG won the Ligue 1 title.
“Our project is based on the long term and we don’t buy a player to then sell him the following year. Al-Khelafia continued.
The former Napoli striker had previously been a target for Chelsea and Manchester City too.
