Juventus would try to sign Chelsea star if they lost Pogba

Serie A champions Juventus would turn their attentions to Chelsea should they lose star-midfielder Paul Pogba in the next few months.

The Frenchman is strongly linked with a move away from Turin after developing into one of the best midfielders in the world. Pogba arrived at Juve back in 2012 after leaving Manchester United on a free transfer, and it’s now suggested that he could be sold for up to ÂŁ74million.

The likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and FC Barcelona are all interested in the midfielder, but it’s the latter that are considered strong favourites to land him as their transfer embargo gets lifted in the New Year.

Fabregas Eyed Up

Should Juventus lose Pogba, they will turn their attentions to the Premier League champions and will try and land Fabregas, who is under pressure at Stamford Bridge following rat accusations from the media and from a portion of the fans.

Fabregas was deemed to play a big part in the club’s decision to sack Jose Mourinho, and the fans have vented their frustrations at the Spaniard.

According to reports yesterday, Fabregas has demanded a transfer away from Chelsea and wants to leave the club as soon as possible, but those claims are believed to be false.

However, should Juve lose their star-asset, they may make a formal approach for the Blues man.
