19-year-old has enjoyed a sensational start to the season making a scoring debut for Barcelona and being called up to the Spanish squad for the European Championship qualifier against FYR Macedonia.

He made his international debut last night during the 5-1 victory, replacing Koke in the 77th minute.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has kept tabs on the starlet for more than year and is believed to be interested in bringing him to the Emirates.

Former Gunners hero Fabregas believes Munir is “special” after witnessing him first hand in training.

“Munir really is something special. From what I’ve seen of him in training, he is a really good player,” he said.

“It’s all gone pretty fast for him, but people have only been saying good things about him. He doesn’t seem to feel any pressure and feels comfortable around his Barcelona team-mates.

“He can play both on the wing and in the centre. His awareness and movement is superb and is excellent at finding space.”

Following the comfortable victory, Munir revealed he had fulfilled a childhood dream having turned down overtures from Morocco – the country of his father’s birth.

“I never doubted about playing for Spain,” he said. “I was born here and I am very happy to have made my debut.

“To play for Spain was my own decision. I knew what it meant (ruling out a future Morocco appearance) to appear for Spain. This is a childhood dream come true.”
