Spaniard tweets out about reports suggesting it’s him who’s unhappy

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has confirmed that it wasn’t him who said ‘he would rather lose than win for Jose Mourinho’.

It was revealed on BBC Five Live that a certain member in the Chelsea dressing room was leading a revolt against Mourinho, and even said that he’d prefer to lose than see Mourinho win.

Reports emerged late last night that it was Fabregas who said those words and who is leading a revolt against the manager, but the player himself has moved quickly to dismiss those claims.

Fabregas Responds

Fabregas tweeted: “I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports form some online websites, I am extremely happy at Chelsea and have an excellent relationship with the manager.

“There maybe certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club but I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again.”

This statement comes just days after it was revealed that a player is against Mourinho.

Mutiny Against Mourinho

The reports said: “I have it on the best authority possible that the players have told the manager that they hate the way they play.

“They hate the way they have to sit back against inferior opposition, they hate the way they aren’t allowed to express themselves.

“I’m told that Cesc Fabregas is the leader of that mini-revolt. And as a player, you do things like this when you know you are in the right.”
