Chelsea signing Cesc Fabregas will cost the club a couple of million more than origianlly thought due to bonuses and add-ons.
The initial fee was reported as ÂŁ26million for the Spanish international, after Chelsea agreed a deal with Catalan giants FC Barcelona, but depending on number of appearances and other add-ons, The Blues could end up paying ÂŁ28.6m for the 27-year-old.
Fabregas’ return to England was formally announced last month and it left people shocked after hearing that former-club Arsenal, rejected the chance to re-sign him, which gave Chelsea a free path to his signature.
The ex-Arsenal captain will wear the number four shirt at Stamford Bridge next season, which has been vacated by David Luiz, who has joined French side Paris Saint-Germain.
