Chelsea ‘agree’ deal for Amadou Diawara

Bologna midfielder set to join Chelsea

Chelsea have reportedly ‘agreed’ a deal to sign Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara.

The 18-year-old has been making headlines over in Italy after making his first-team debut for the Serie A side back in August, and according to reports, he’s ready to move to Chelsea.

Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, has claimed the Premier League champions are in pole-position to get the deal done with the help of Roman Abramovich and a football agent.

Done Deal?

The reports in Italy have claimed that Diawara‘s agent, Robert Visan, has reached a verbal agreement with football agent Pini Zahavi, who has worked with Chelsea and Abramovich several times before.

Diawara just last week claimed it was his dream to play in the Champions League, and it looks like his dream could become reality in January.

He said: “I dream of playing in the Champions League.”
