Jose Mourinho to San Siro and Roberto Mancini to Stamford Bridge
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has added Roberto Mancini to his list of potential candidates who could replace Jose Mourinho.
The Italian boss is currently in Serie A with Inter Milan, and after the clubs troubled years, Mancini has seemingly turned them around and now has them joint top of the Italian league.
Mancini was also a success story in England, winning the Premier League and an FA Cup with Manchester City, before he was sacked and replaced by Manuel Pellegrini.
Managerial Swaps?
However, the Inter boss has caught the eye of Abramovich, and with Mourinho‘s job on the line, he could be tempted to make the change, which could then see Mourinho return to the San Siro.
There are several names of the owner’s list, including Carlo Ancelotti, Guus Hiddink and Antonio Conte, but Mancini is the latest to be linked with the job.
As for Mourinho, he’s reportedly held talks with other clubs already, believed to be Paris Saint-Germain, AS Monaco, Real Madrid and Inter.
In a shock twist, things could see Mancini and Mourinho swapping jobs.
