Branislav Ivanovic is on his way out of Stamford Bridge, according to reports

The Serbia international could be headed for one of Chelsea’s title rivals, claims the MailOnline.

With just one year left to run on his current contract, the 31-year-old has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, as well as some top clubs in England.

The former Lokomotiv Moscow defender played in all of Chelsea’s Premier League games last season and was an important figure for the Stamford Bridge club.

In contrast, he has been heavily criticized at the start of this season during a 2-2 draw at home against Swansea and a 3-0 defeat away to Manchester City.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has also bolstered his defensive options with the signing of Baba Rahman from Ausburg which has further fuelled speculation about Ivanovic’s future.

Mourinho wants Stones

Despite Everton reportedly rejecting a third bid for John Stones worth £30million, Mourinho is intent on signing the England international.

The Merseyside club have insisted the 21-year-old is not for sale, but the Blues are ready to test their resolve with a fourth bid closer to £40million.

Stones arrived at Goodison Park from Barnsley back in January 2013 for a fee believed to be in the region of £3million.

John Terry was substituted for the first time in his career during their 3-0 defeat against City which was believed to be a message from Mourinho to owner Roman Abramovich.
