Atletico Madrid made approach to re-sign striker
Chelsea have reportedly rejected an approach from Atletico Madrid for Diego Costa.
The La Liga giants are keen on reuniting with the striker, who has had a poor season in the Premier League so far by his standards.
However, Costa has seemingly returned to form since the dismissal of Jose Mourinho, and it appears the Spaniard is enjoying life at Stamford Bridge under Guus Hiddink.
Due to his form and recent antics, Costa was linked with a move back to Spain, with Atletico keen on re-signing him, but according to reports, they have officially rejected an enquiry from Diego Simeone‘s side.

Hiddink is keen on keeping Costa at Chelsea and is only interested in adding strikers to the club, with Alex Teixeira from Shakhtar Donetsk close to being finalised.
With Hiddink seemingly getting the best out of Costa once again, it’s likely that the Spaniard will remain at Chelsea, despite some of the fans voicing their displeasure at him for this efforts during the woeful run under Mourinho.
