Clubs are in advanced talks over forward
Chelsea are on the verge of completing a deal with Shakhtar Donetsk for striker Alex Teixeira, according to reports.
The Blues have been tracking the Brazilian over the past few months, and with the transfer window now open, they are finally ready to get the deal over the line.
According to reports, Chelsea will pay the Ukrainian outfit around £30million for the forward, and the deal should be finalised in the next few days.

Teixeira will arrive at Stamford Bridge in red-hot form, having scored 26 goals in 25 games so far this season for Shakhtar, and he will provide good competition for Diego Costa, who’s have a turbulent campaign himself.
With this deal all-but done, it would allow Loic Remy and/or Radamel Falcao to leave the club, with both seeking exits from West London due to lack of game-time.
At this stage, it’s believed this will be Guus Hiddink‘s only signing of January.
