Nemanja Matic has left Blues fans wondering if this move will happen after he had been left out of Chelsea’s 25-man squad for their pre-season tour of China and Singapore.

Antonio Conte recently completed the £40m signing of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko who now looks set to take over Matic’s place as N’Golo Kante’s partner in midfield.
Chelsea’s pre-season fixtures against Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter are coming up in the next week, and it seems Conte is planning for life without the Serbia international.
A number of academy products – Marci Bulka Jake Clarke-Salter, Fikayo Tomori, Mario Pasalic, Lewis Baker, Kyle Scott, Charly Musonda Jr, Jeremie Boga – have been included in his touring party.
