Fantastic news for Blues
Chelsea duo Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois are set to be offered new deals at the club.
Both players have been in fine form for the Blues this season, with Costa being the first player of the campaign to score 10 goals, and Courtois recently managing to keep his 5th clean sheet in a row.
Their contributions have helped Chelsea reach top of the league at this stage, and the good news for Chelsea is that both players appear keen to put pen to paper on new deals.
Having joined from Atletico Madrid in 2014, Costa was handed a contract worth £150,000 a week and could earn much closer to £200,000 a week by extending his deal.
Courtois signed his £100,000-a-week Chelsea contract two years ago, when he returned from his three-year loan at Atletico, and will earn in excess of £150,000 a week if he commits his long-term future to the Blues.
Both players suffered from tough patches of form last season during Chelsea’s terrible campaign which saw Jose Mourinho sacked by Christmas.
However, both players are now thought to be enjoying life at Stamford Bridge once again under Italian Antionio Conte.
