Chelsea are eyeing an incredible swap deal with Borussia Dortmund, seeing Marco Reus joining the Blues and Andre Schurrle heading the other way.
However fellow German side Wolfsburg are said to be very interested in Schurrle, and are prepared to pay £23 million for the winger.
Jose Mourinho is yet to be convinced by Schurrle’s mentality, despite being an integral part of the German World Cup winning team.
Chelsea may have a job convincing Reus to choose Stamford Bridge, with the playmaker’s preferred move said to be to Real Madrid.
Reus is almost certain to leave Dortmund in the summer, when his £20 million release clause comes into effect.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United remain linked with Reus, but it seems Chelsea is his most likely English destination if any.
It is now up to Dortmund as to whether they would be interested in signing Schurrle
