With David Luiz set to leave for France very soon, Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho sees Real Madrid youngster, Raphael Varane as the perfect replacement.
After cashing in on a world record bid for a defender, Chelsea are left with money to spend for new replacement this summer window.
Reports suggest that Jose Mourinho already knows who he wants to partner Terry at the heart of his defence next season, and it appears to be Varane.
Varane was managed under Mourinho’s time at the Spanish giants, and both seemed to form a good bond as Mourinho gave Varane a decent amount of playing time ahead of the likes of Pepe.
It is understood that Real Madrid are prepared to let Varane go for the right price, and Mourinho knows that he has the money to bring the player to Stamford Bridge.
