Jose Mourinho wants three stars from Madrid

Chelsea are reportedly ready to make a triple raid on La Liga by offering £106million for Antoine Griezmann, Koke and Diego Godin.

The Blues have just secured their fifth league title after beating Crystal Palace 1-0 at Stamford Bridge last weekend, and Jose Mourinho‘s attentions have now turned to next season as they look to retain their crown.

Plans for Next Season

Mourinho has been urged by Roman Abramovich to aim for the Champions League and the Premier League next season, and he believes he can do so with three star signings from Spain.

However, the Chelsea chairman has also urged Mourinho to blood some of the club’s youth players through next season after they had a successful campaign on all fronts.

The Blues aren’t known for having youth players in their first-team, with John Terry being the only noticeable success story from their academy, but it’s something Abramovich wants to change in West London.

Atletico Raid

Despite the call for for homegrown talents, Mourinho still wants to raid La Liga with a triple bid worth around £106m.

Mourinho wants Koke, Godin and Griezmann all from Atletico Madrid as he looks to raid the Spanish club once again.

The Special One signed Diego Costa and Filipe Luis from the Champions League finalists last season, and now is aiming to secure deals for three of their top stars.

Both Koke and Godin were wanted last year, but Diego Simeone issued a hands off warning, whilst Griezmann has had a superb debut season for Madrid after moving from Real Sociedad.

Cost of Trio

According to reports, the Uruguayan centre-back will cost around £17m, Koke will cost around £46m and Griezmann will cost £44m.
