According to reports in Italy, The Blues made an offer to sign Andrea Belotti but Torino rejected their £63m bid
Chelsea have signed Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero, AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger, Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata in the summer transfer window so far.
Tuttosport claim the Premier League champions made a substantial offer for the Italy international.
However, the same report also says Belotti’s bosses Torino have rejected the approach for one of Serie A’s most-prolific strikers.
According to the story fromthe Italian media outlet, Chelsea will have to activate Belotti’s £88m contract release clause if the Blues want to secure the centre-forward’s signature.
