Reports in Chile claim job offer has already been made
Chelsea have already offered Manuel Pellegrini a ‘very attractive offer’ to become their next manager, according to reports in Chile.
The Manchester City boss announced he would be leaving the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season, in order to be replaced by Pep Guardiola, but he’s already seemingly landed himself a new job.
According to reports, Chelsea officials have already got in touch with Pellegrini and have already made him an offer to take over at Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.
Pellegrini is believed to be on Roman Abramovich‘s candidate list, and the Chilean is keen on staying in the Premier League, according to his agent, so it could be an easy deal to strike once Guus Hiddink leaves the club.
According to reports back in Chile, Chelsea and Pellegrini have already held discussions about the job and the Blues have tabled a ‘very attractive offer’.

“Pellegrini is delighted with the idea of staying in the Premier League,” a source close to the boss told the newspaper.
“Chelsea is one of the clubs he has been talking to, and they’ve shown a very attractive offer.”
