Premier League side Chelsea have finally opened formal talks with Paris Saint-Germain for their winger Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Jose Mourinho has been keen on signing the Argentine for the past two seasons now, and he is finally willing to offer £18million for the 29-year-old.
Lavezzi, who is currently in Brazil representing his country at the World Cup, is reported interested in completing a switch away from Ligue 1, and a move to England is his favoured option, so a move to Chelsea is looking more likely.
According to reports in France, PSG and Chelsea have opened formal talks on Friday and it’s believed that £18m is the amount they want for the winger.
This will be the second transfer between the two clubs this Summer, after PSG signed David Luiz for roughly £40m.
