West-Londoners’ ready to part with Oscar, in favour of signing Paul Pogba

Chelsea are negotiating with Juventus over a potential swap deal involving Oscar and Paul Pogba.

According to recent reports in Italy, Chelsea are keen to get a £57million deal over the line, and that could see Oscar move the other way, in a swap deal with the Italian Serie A Champions.

Juventus are reportedly willing to let Pogba leave, and it is thought the Saturday’s European Cup Final against Barcelona in Berlin, will be his swansong for the Turin outfit.

With Pogba in high-demand from Europe’s superpowers, the 22-year-old is likely to move on in the near future, as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City have expressed an interest.

Oscar swap

If reports in Italy are correct, Chelsea are leading the way to get the France international midfielder, and will let Oscar leave, in order to secure a swift deal.

The Brazilian international has been deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, having featured sporadically last term, as Jose Mourinho opted for the likes of Eden Hazard  and Cesc Fabregas agead of him in the pecking order.

Juventus Director Giuseppe Marotta views Oscar as the perfect replacement should Pogba move the other way, and it is likely the midfielder will occupy his favoured ‘number ten’ role.
