Chelsea youngster Mason Mount has penned a new long-term deal at Stamford Bridge.
No it’s not Eden Hazrd yet, but this youngster is one of the blues top young players and worth reporting, the fans that watch the youth sides have been raving about this lad, labeling him as ‘the next Frank Lampard’, There’s a video below so you can judge for yourself.
Mason has yet to make an appearance for the Blue’s first-team, However, the 18-year-old attacking midfielder has been impressive as captain of the Under-18 team this campaign.
Football.London report the highly-rated teenager has now agreed a deal which keeps him at the club until the end of the 2021 season.
Mount was part of the Chelsea side which won the UEFA Youth League back in 2015/16,
He signed his first contract with the Blues in 2016.
The youngster hasn’t yet player under Antonio Conte, but has trained with the first-team on a number of occasions.
After captaining Chelsea’s U18s to a place in the FA Youth Cup final, Mount will be hoping to break into Conte’s plans in the not-too-distant future.
