Jose Mourinho to give Victor Moses second chance

Victor Moses looks set to remain at Stamford Bridge amid rumors he is set to return to Stoke, where he spent last season on loan.

After an inspired performance in Chelsea’s first pre-season friendly against New York Red Bull’s, the club appears to have reversed the decision to allow the Nigerian to leave.

Mourinho will feel that the 24-year-old’s top-flight experience will help his side’s defend the Premier League title.

The ‘special one’ admitted that he was impressed by Moses‘ first-half performance in the 4-2 pre-season defeat to New York Red Bulls and confesses that he is looking forward to watching his performance against PSG.

Mourinho Supports Moses

Mourinho is quoted as saying, “He’s strong, he’s an experienced guy, he knows the Premier League well, he’s fast, he’s aggressive.”

He added: “Ok, he has to learn how to play with us obviously. But I’m happy with him this week, I’m happy with his 45 minutes.”

Mourinho has promised the winger another 45 minutes of action in the clubs next pre-season friendly, he said: “The next match he’ll have 45 more minutes and let’s see what happens. Victor has had an evolution in the last couple of years.”
