Loic Remy has returned to Stamford Bridge to receive treatment on a thigh injury just nine days after his move to Crystal Palace.
The 29-year-old joined Crystal Palace on a season-long loan last month after Blues boss Antonio Conte decided he needed to gain experience elsewhere.
But just after nine days, Remy is back at Chelsea for treatment on a thigh injury.
he suffered the injury during a training session on Monday and is expected to be out for a number of weeks.
“Unfortunately, Loic got injured on Monday and the seriousness of that, I don’t know,” Palace boss Alan Pardew told Sky Sports.
“But he’s not going to be involved this weekend, so it’s a bit of a blow.
“He’s just got a little thigh strain.
“I don’t know how long he’s out for, but he’s had a scan on Tuesday morning and I’ll know more today.”
