Diego Costa could be on his way back to Stamford Bridge sooner than expected

According to reports, Diego Costa will reportedly be set for a big sensational return to Stamford Bridge in a bid to salvage any hoping of making Spain’s squad for the 2018 World Cup.

The striker has currently exiled himself back home in Brazil after trying to force through a move to Atletico Madrid for most of the summer.

However, it was confirmed on Friday that no transfer will be taking place – which now seemingly leaves the 28-year-old stuck at a club he no longer wants to play for or is wanted at.

According to the Daily Star, the striker could be about to sensationally climb down from his stance.

They claims that a source close to Costa has said: “I guess there will have to be a reconciliation between Diego and the club.

“I think he will have to come back because he does not want his career to end there, like this.

“Diego has no grounds to sue Chelsea. Chelsea do have grounds to sue Diego now.”
