The Brazilian made a handful of appearances
Chelsea have told striker Alexandre Pato that they will not be extending his stay at the club and he will return to parent team Corinthians.
The 26-year old joined the Blues in January on a loan deal until the end of season, when centre forwards Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao were all struggling with injuries.
However, it took Pato two months to make his Chelsea debut, where he would come off the bench at Aston Villa and score a penalty in the 4-0 victory.
After that, the former AC Milan star would only make one more appearance for the West London club and his future would once again be up in the air.
But new Blues’ boss Antonio Conte has made the decision to not extend Pato’s contract at the club.
