The Blue are reportedly in talks to sign Thiago Silva from PSG.
Media outlet Tutto Mercato Web are claiming to have released exclusive news on Thursday stating Silva was picked as Chelsea’s new target and that negotiations are already underway.
The website also says that the player is currently negotiating a new deal with PSG, as the French side try to block the Blues.
However, Antonio Conte is said to be pushing hard, which is only making things more difficult for the contract renewal. Chelsea have already signed David Luiz from PSG this summer, so it would be quite surprising if they managed to take one more central defender from the French club.
Silva joined PSG from Milan in 2012 for €42m, and now Transfermarkt values him at €16m.
