Real boss wants Phillipe Coutinho at the Bernabau
Liverpool star Phillipe Coutinho has been targeted by Zinadine Zidane as one of 3 Premier League stars to bring to Real Madrid.
Zidane, who is coming under increasing pressure as Madrid boss after a mixed start to the season, is aware that he needs to deliver a league title to Los Blancos this season.
This has prompted club president Florentino Pérez to identify potential targets in an attempt to turn around the clubs fortunes. Don Balon have reported that the list handed to Real boss Zinedine Zidane contains the names of David De Gea, Eden Hazard, Julian Draxler, Mauro Icardi and Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.
Coutinho has enjoyed a fine start to the season as Liverpool sit 4th in the table and just 2 points behind the leaders, so it’s highly unlikely that the Reds will want to sell one of their prized assets.
