Conte interested in Vidal
Chelsea are believed to be interested in signing Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal.
Chilean media are the ones reporting the story, and are claiming that Antonio Conte has made the midfielder his number 1 target, and has already spoken on the phone with the player about a move to Chelsea.
The move is set to take place over the summer transfer window after this season has finished.
Bayern Munich are demanding £56 million for the player they paid £25.5m to sign from Juventus under two years ago.
Speaking last March, Conte admitted that he would relish the chance to work with the Chile international once again.
‘He has extraordinary physical and technical attributes, if I get to coach him a little more it’d be fantastic,’ said the former Italy boss.
‘I want him in all my teams.’
