Chelsea will offer Borussia Dortmund star, Marco Reus, a contract worth around £153k-a-week if he chooses to sign for them in the New Year.
Speculation over the German’s future has been high, especially after he refused to hold contract talks with his current club, and with a £20m release-clause set to activate in the Summer, it’s believed a whole host of clubs are ready to make moves.
Dortmund face a real challenge keeping hold of yet another star, with the likes of; Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all keen on signing the midfielder, but as reported yesterday, it’s believed that Reus favours Chelsea or Madrid.
Upon those reports, it has then emerged that Jose Mourinho is ready to offer the 25-year-old a contract worth around £153k-a-week.
This would make Reus one of the top-earners at Stamford Bridge, just shy of John Terry’s staggering £175k-a-week deal.
Reus’ current contract at Dortmund expires in 2017, but with he release clause activating in the Summer, it’s believed he will be on his way.
