Chelsea have been handed a massive transfer boost with the news that Mauro Icardi could leave Inter Milan in order for them to sign Liverpool star, Mario Balotelli.
The Blues has been linked with the Argentinian striker for some time now, and with the San Siro side looking at bringing in Balotelli this month, Roberto Mancini could sell Icardi in order to raise £20million.
Inter are already set to wrap up a loan-deal for Arsenal forward, Lukas Podolski, but they are still wanting to add more firepower to their squad and Mancini is keen on a reunion with Balotelli after their days together at Inter and Manchester City.
Jose Mourinho is ready to splash £20million on Icardi with the view that Didier Drogba will be leaving in the Summer, and if a £20m bid is launched, Inter would accept it and then look to sign Balotelli from Liverpool.
