Christian Pulisic believes Jadon Sancho made the right decision by choosing to move to Germany so early in his career.
Sancho rejected the chance of a contract renewal and moved to the Bundesliga club last season. He barely had the chance to impress in his first season but it has been a productive season so far for the England international.
The 18 year old has netted four goals and laid up six more to make a mark of himself in the Bundesliga. His emphatic display on the flanks impressed England manager Gareth Southgate and Sancho got his first senior call up.
The 18 year old is expected to be named in the starting lineup when the Three Lions face the USA in a friendly and could face his club teammate Pulisic.
Pulisic said, “The sky is the limit for a guy like that, he’s got so much talent and he’s a great young player.
“We’ve talked about playing against each other possibly – it would be a lot of fun because obviously we are in training and competing every day and it’s cool to see a guy like that.”
“Sometimes you have to take a risk if you want great things to happen.
“I had to do the same thing moving to Germany. I’m really happy for him that things are working out and just want him to continue to push and continue to get better.”
