Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris has asked his fellow players to remain consistent for the remainder of the season to back up their excellent start to the season.
The North London giants have made a habit of making it to the top four and so far they have been on the right course. Tottenham currently sit comfortably in the fourth place, five points adrift of the league leaders Manchester City.
Despite not investing a single penny in the summer transfer window Mauricio Pochettino seems to have enough ammunition at his disposal to keep up his good work at the club.
Delay in the opening of their new stadium was supposed to be a matter of concern for them but given their recent form their progress hasn’t been hampered by the stadium thing.
Lloris said, “I think the key is to stay as consistent as possible all through the season.
“At the moment in the league we are in a good position. It is maybe one of our best starts of the last few years.
We are in a good position and we need to carry on in the same way and try to improve the way we play.
“We are still competitive and we will be ready for top four challenge.”
