Arsenal’s teenage starlet Chubs Akpom, has rejected interest elsewhere to pen a new long-term deal with the North London outfit, the Daily Mirror have reported.
The 19-year-old has signed up to a four-year-deal, having previously stalled upon a new deal at the Gunners.
His previous contract was due to expire in the summer, which had alerted interest from Borussia Dortmund, FC Twente, and Championship side Wigan Athletic, however, the England Under-20 international has decided to remain with Arsene Wenger’s side for the long haul, having impressed for Arsenal this season.
Having had previous loan stints with Brentford and Coventry City, Akpom has made five-apparances for Arsenal’s senior side this season, having come up through the clubs academy.
