Jorge Mendes has revealed that Christiano Ronaldo loves Manchester United fans but he is destined to finish his career with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
He also stated that if Madrid ever decide to sell their super-star that it would cost any team no less than £300 million!
Christiano has never hidden his feelings towards Manchester United since leaving Old Trafford after a 6 year spell which saw him win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup and Mendes says he still feels very strongly about United.
Ronaldo will always be heavily linked with clubs around the globe and especially Manchester United but Mendes is adamant that ‘the best player ever’ will remain at the Bernabeu;
Mendes was speaking with the BBC and said this;
“He loves the Man United supporters, he told me because he was there for six years,
“But now he is at Real Madrid, he will not leave Real Madrid.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player ever in the world and the best sportsman ever.
“So you can’t compare Cristiano Ronaldo with anyone else. It’s impossible to find someone like him.”
But the good news for Ronaldo suitors is that despite his reported £1billion release clause, there may be an opportunity to get him on the cheap… well, relatively at least.
“If for any reason the club decide to sell him for £300m, someone will pay.”
