Clasie was an important figure in the Netherlands’ World Cup campaign last year and attracted attention from a number of Premier League clubs as a result.
But the Dutch international ended up signing a new deal with the Eredivisie side until 2018.
And while he hopes he will be able to make a move when the time is right, Clasie has insisted that sticking with Feyenoord was the right decision.
He told Algemeen Dagblad: “I have absolutely no regrets over my decision to stay at De Kuip.
“Of course, I have my ambitions and dreams, but I am in no rush to leave.
“I will get my transfer when the time is right.”
