Orman claims Beşiktaş have a major following worldwide with a rich history and therefore belongs in Europe’s elite. However, he has acknowledged that the club’s current form isn’t the best.
Orman said: “Besiktas are not at the level we want right now, we have much work to do,
“We have come to a certain level; this level is not the level Besiktas should be. Besiktas is a club with a world-class team and 115 years of history before anything else. At this point, we are not good enough, we’ll do better. It’s not like this, we need time and we need to work. We have a lot of work to do for Ronaldo.”
Ronaldo has been linked to the Turkish club in recent times. There was even reports claiming that he’ll be open to consider a move to Beşiktaş, who have successfully lured fellow Portuguese internationals Pepe and Ricardo Quaresma to the club, but it seems unlikely the transfer can happen in the near future, as Ronaldo is still in top form.
