Conte set to leave Chelsea before Pre-Season

Antonio Conte is set to leave the Blues before players arrive for Pre-season

According to reports, the Italian Professional football manager is set to leave Chelsea before the arrival of the players for pre-season matches.

The Italian Manager is ready to be sacked and replaced by Maurizio Sarri this weekend as the club prepare for pre-season.

Conte was hired by the Blues on a 3-year deal in 2016 when his deal with the Italian team came to an end. He was the head coach of the Italian National Team for 2 years until 2016. The Italian Football federation confirms his exit after Euro 2016.

Despite an FA Cup final win last season, the campaign was seen as a huge disappointment after Premier League and Champions League failures.

The pending decision of Conte being replaced has left several player anxious over their future at the club.

Non-World cup players will arrive Cobham by the end of the week and will be going under a medical and fitness test before leaving for training camp in Australia. Player who have been in Russia representing thier respective countries will arrive, depending on when their team leave the compedition

The club head wants Sarri to take his charge at Cobham before the players arrival.

Maurizio Sarri who has been the head coach of Italian club Napoli joined the club in 2015. Since then the club has played 147 matches in which they have won 97 of them with a win percentage of 65.99%. Sarri was hired by the Napoli with the intention of providing attacking football.

Once the deal is done between Sarri and the Blues, Sarri will look to shape up the squad to get back into the Champions League.
