Chelsea have announced that they have reached an agreement to sign Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.
Costa had been a target for Chelsea for sometime, however the two parties have agreed a deal, and the £32 million transfer is set to be finalised in the coming days.
The Blues had previously had bids for the Spanish international rejected, however within the last hour or so, Mourinho’s has matched the buy out clsuse.
Costa himself scored 28 La Liga goals for Atletico lsast season, as they won the title for the first time in 19 years.
The player passed a medical a few weeks ago, however a deal had been on hold as negotiations stalled.
