The agent of Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that the Portuguese winger could possibly move to the American MLS in 2018.

The future of Ronaldo has been up in the air for quite sometime now, and now Jorge Mendes, has stated that his client could possibly be on the move to the rapidly growing league in the United States.

Ronaldo, aged 29, current deal at Real Madrid expires out in the summer of 2018, and could follow in the footsteps of David Beckham, Frank Lampard, and Steven Gerrard by moving Stateside.

Gerrard recently revealed that he will complete a summer switch to the LA Galaxy, with several other stellar names, such as Kaka, now plying their trade across the atlantic.

Speaking on Portuguese television, Mendes revealed that there could be a possibility of Ronaldo heading to Major League Soccer in the near-future:

‘This is the best of all time. No one will be like him.

‘Maybe he will go to the USA [after finishing at Madrid]. God will decide.’
