Eagles set to sign Evra
Crystal Palace are close to signing ex-Manchester United star Patrice Evra.
It’s understood a number of Premier League clubs were in the race for the defender’s signature, but Palace look the most likely to take him on.
Sky Italia have reported that the move has been approved by all parties involved, including the player himself.
He left the Premier League 2 and a half years ago when a £5.5million move saw from go from Manchester United to Juventus.
Palace boss Sam Allardyce said on Thursday that his priority in the January window is to strengthen his side’s leaky defence, and that he had submitted bids for “three or four players”.
