Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge feels Brendan Rodgers is the best manager he has ever worked with following his impressive season that has helped The Reds challenge for the Prem title. The England striker has netted 20 goals this season second only to his teammate Luis Suarez.

Sturridge feels that his manager is finding the right way to get the best out of him. He said:

“Tactically, he’s the best manager I have worked with. From a man-management point of view, he’s always pushing to get the best out of me. He is always trying to get the most out of me and reach my limits. He’s done a lot for me and hopefully I can pay him back with some good performances.”

The striker has indeed had a great season filled with goals and good performances as Liverpool close in on their first ever Premier League title. The praise for Rodgers shouldn’t be taken lightly either considering Sturridge has worked with managers such as Carlo Ancelotti, Rafa Benitez, Andre Villas-Boas, Roberto Di Matteo and Sven-Goren Eriksson.
