Manchester City midfielder David Silva has warned title-favourites, Chelsea, that they won’t have it easy this season, despite already being five points clear at the top.
Jose Mourinho’s men have made a bright start to the season, including impressive wins over Everton and Arsenal, but Silva believes the unpredictability of the Premier League means The Blues will have to work hard in order to win the title.
City, who won the league last year, are still yet to hit top-form, and their Spanish maestro has fired a warning to their main title-rivals.
‘Chelsea have made great transfers, they have a great team, a great squad,’ said Silva.
‘But it doesn’t mean things are going to be easy, especially in England.’
