Declan Rice Impressed by Chelsea’s Cole Palmer

Declan Rice, an Arsenal midfielder, has heaped praise on Chelsea’s rising star, Cole Palmer, underlining the youngster’s outstanding performances in recent matches.

Rice told ESPN that he admires Palmer’s game, noting the impact he has had in his first season as a regular senior player at Stamford Bridge.

He said: “I feel like it is the conversation every time a tournament comes around. A lot of players are obviously playing really well.

So many players in the Premier League: Jarrod Bowen at West Ham, Ross Barkley at Luton, Cole Palmer [Chelsea], Curtis Jones[Liverpool], so many players playing well.”

Palmer’s outstanding performances have not gone undetected, with many naming him Chelsea’s best player of the season thus far.

Despite having limited chances at Manchester City, Palmer’s ÂŁ45 million transfer to Chelsea last summer proved to be a masterstroke, catapulting him into the spotlight.

His strong form earned him a call-up to the England national team, where he made an impressive debut under manager Gareth Southgate. Rice feels Palmer’s talent could earn him a permanent position in England’s Euros team.

As Rice continues to play an important role in the Three Lions formation, Chelsea fans might be wondering why the gifted midfielder has unwilling to establish himself in their starting lineup.

Despite Chelsea’s past interest in Rice, the club instead signed Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo in recent transfer windows.

Palmer’s future appears increasingly promising, both domestically and globally, as Rice’s endorsement adds to his growing profile.
