Chelsea striker not happy with life in London

Chelsea striker Demba Ba is wanting to quit English football and push through a move to Turkey after failing to cement a first-team spot at Stamford Bridge.

The Senegal international joined The Blues from Newcastle United in January for ÂŁ7.5million after impressing at St James Park, however, since that move, he has only scored twice in the Premier League and has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Samuel Eto’o.

Ba was close to joining Arsenal in the Summer on loan, but after The Gunners signed Mesut Ozil, Jose Mourinho decided against helping out his title-rivals.

It is understood that Chelsea will sell Ba in the new year, as long as they can sign a suitable replacement.

A Turkish agent has spoken briefly on the subject and he has admitted that Ba is keen to play in Turkey.

“I talk closely with Demba Ba, he wants to play for a Turkish club but I can’t comment on a transfer yet.”
