FC Barcelona are set to deal Manchester United manager David Moyes yet another transfer blow as they are just days away from extending Andres Iniesta’s contract.
The Spaniard has been watched by United’s scouting team and it is believed that Moyes is desperate to land the midfield-man with his contract set to expire in 2015.
However, reports in Spain have suggested that a new deal could be just days away from being accepted, which will see him remain at the Nou Camp until 2017.
It is suggested that the new deal will see the Spanish international gain a pay-rise which will see him earning just as much as Carles Puyol and Xavi.
The 29-year-old was reported as unsettled at the Catalan club due to the contract saga, but it’s now thought that his future could be wrapped up before December.
