Angel Di Maria has passed his medical ahead of his proposed £59.7 million move to Manchester United, according to Sky Sports.
The 26 year old will complete the deal in the coming hours or so, having arrived from Madrid to Manchester via private Jet late last night.
And now reports from Sky suggest that he has passed his medical ahead of a British record transfer fee, and could make his debut in Manchester United’s televised game away at newly promoted Burnley on Saturday.
Di Maria’s signing is also somewhat of a coup for United, with PSG previously keen on the Argentine international.
He played a part in training this morning ahead of signing a long term deal at United.
The winger’s signing see’s United’s spending go past the £100 million mark, after the fellow signings of fullback Luke Shaw from Southampton, and Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao.
