Chelsea striker Diego Costa could be set to miss the next six weeks after reportedly suffering a hamstring injury in training.
The Spaniard, who joined the club in the Summer from Atletico Madrid, has made an impressive start to life in England, scoring two goals in two games, but reports have come out this morning saying that he has picked up an injury in training.
The striker pulled up in yesterday’s training session, and it’s been reported that he could face six weeks out, if the injury is as bad as first feared.
If the injury is a serious one, this would leave Chelsea with just Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba as strikers, and it could force Jose Mourinho into the transfer market in order to strengthen his attacking options.
