Argentine already planning to take over at Stamford Bridge?

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone may be considering a move to Chelsea in the summer, but he believes the club is in need of a massive overhaul.

The Blues are currently suffering the worst ever title defence in the Premier League‘s history, losing seven of their first 12-games, and it’s left Jose Mourinho on the brink.

As of yet, the Chelsea fans have kept Mourinho in his job because of their continued support, but if results stay the same, Roman Abramovich may be forced to make a decision.

Chelsea currently lie 16th in the table, and with Mourinho’s future in doubt, Abramovich is already preparing for the change behind the scenes.

Simeone to Chelsea

Simeone has quickly become his number-one candidate, and after reports emerged last week that the Argentine could quit Atletico in the summer, it’s looking more and more likely it could happen.

According to some reports, Simeone’s assistant has already started having English lessons in order to prepare for life in the Premier League.

However, if Simeone does take the job, he will demand mega-changes and expensive changes.

It’s believed the Atletico boss would want to make drastic changes to the first-team and would also want full control over transfers, something Abramovich is used to giving.
