Reports are claiming  Mourinho is ready to make a move for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, who has been in top form in the Serie A so far this season. With nine goals in 12 games he is leading the race for the Golden Boot and has also put Chelsea scouts on high alert.

The 27-year-old held a pretty decent relationship with Jose Mourinho while at Real Madrid. Higuain was given a share of the goal-scoring duties alongside Karim Benzema and netted 48 La Liga goals in the three seasons they spent together.

Chelsea Looking To Replace Stars

Radamel Falcao appears to have been something of wrong choice signing for the Blues. The Colombian has shown no more form than he did whilst at Manchester United last season, and it seems Jose’s gamble has failed.

To top it all off none of Chelsea’s stars have impressed this season, Diego Costa’s bad-boy antics, along with a very average goal-scoring return, has seen him labelled as one of the biggest disappointments in this Premier League season.
