Manchester United midfielder completes season-long loan
Adnan Januzaj has confirmed that he’s joined Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund on a season-long loan.
Reports emerged this morning that the Manchester United midfielder was wanted by the German club, and he has posted on his official social media accounts that the deal is done.
Januzaj will spend the whole season in Germany before returning to United this time next year.
It’s not yet understood what the loan fee is for United, but Dortmund don’t have the right to sign him permanently next summer as Louis van Gaal still has plans for the Belgium.
After the move was finalised, Januzaj posted a picture of himself inside the Dortmund stadium holding up a club shirt with the caption: ‘Pleased to sign for Dortmund ? ! Looking forward to new season.’
Januzaj was behind the likes of Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Memphis Depay and Juan Mata at Old Trafford and Van Gaal believed a loan move away would be good for his development.
