Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland collected braces to earn BVB their only piece of silverware amidst a difficult campaign.

Dortmund are still in the fight for a Champions League spot for next season. They are currently fourth in the Bundesliga with only a point above Eintracht Frankfurt. Terzic’s men did not face much difficulty in bagging their first trophy since 2017. Leipzig have not beaten Dortmund in eight games now, losing 3-2 against them in Bundesliga as well last Saturday.
